Sheedy Vision Details
Sheedy Vision is the home of Kevin Sheedy and his team. While Kevin is well known for his time as an AFL coach at Essendon and GWS, and his playing days at Richmond before that, Sheedy Vision goes well beyond football. Kevin shares his knowledge, experience and lessons in business, innovation and leadership through public speaking, publishing books and running educational online courses. It was made clear that Kevin's skills went beyond football coaching when he was named "Thinker of the Year" in 2007. The business world had noticed that Kevin's involvement in the Essendon Football Club went beyond coaching the players in the physical and mental aspects of the game.He knew an Anzac Day match between Essendon and Collingwood would become a talked-about annual event, and set about making it happen. He found a way to ensure the game was held to honour the Anzacs with full respect, and managed to turn an initially reluctant RSL into one of the biggest supporters of the game. While still interested in all things football, Kevin's unique take on the broader aspects of the game and business of AFL mean he's always got something interesting to say. His opinion on communication, leadership, business, innovation, and life in general are still sought after, and given a moment to speak, Kevin is only too happy to share his views.
