Sheer Screen Films creates visually daring and evocative narrative and documentary films focused on the issues of identity and perception, especially as they relate to the role of women in today's society.LAUREN MERAGE – WRITER/DIRECTORLauren Merage is a Los Angeles-based video artist and filmmaker. She received her B.A. in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine. Lauren's work has been exhibited internationally and has been commissioned by private art collectors.In 2011, Lauren created production company, SHEER SCREEN FILMS, which produces her short and feature length films. Her short films have played all over the world. Lauren Merage is now in development on her first feature film, LIFTING THE VEIL, 2015.
