Artists create the mindset of a society. But the value of an Artist is still questioned in societies like ours. We do not appreciate his/her essential participation in the development of the nation. Storytellers create the Narrative of a Nation. They shape our cultural Identity. The soothing lullabies sung by mothers to babies, heart touching poems for a sweetheart, spirited patriotic songs, devotional hymns for God, all the difficult paths of expression are paved by Artists and Writers for everyone to walk-on with ease. Sheerin Sukhan Foundation envisions providing a Free platform for aspiring writers to learn the Elements of Storytelling and Story Viewers and Reviewers for their sensibilities to appreciate the craft better. Leading to its sub-chapters, the Foundation intends to engage Performing and Visual Artists, helping them enhance their capacity to express their stories effectively.Storytelling is a tool for knowing what we are and what we want. By employing Storytelling as a tool, we aim to encourage the Culture of healthy Conversation. When we share our stories, dreams, and perspectives effectively, it sensitizes us to be more tolerant of each other.Sheerin Sukhan Foundation seeks to unchain hearts and minds by empowering visual and performing arts to create more profound empathy in Pakistan.
