Sheffield & Hallamshire County was the first county football association created in England. As the oldest County Football Association we hold proud history in developing the game that is played today. We continue to develop grassroots football today through many areas of the game including participation, development, investment and governance. We are also proud to support our local professional football clubs including Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Rotherham United, Barnsley FC and Doncaster Rovers. This also includes our local WSL clubs Doncaster Rovers Belles and Sheffield FC Ladies. Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA supports projects based around supporting targeted areas including Adult Male, Women's & Girls, Disability and Youth football. Our football development officers are dedicated to developing these areas across the county. Through investment, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA supports the Pitch Improvement Plan, Parklife Project and various other projects. Our most recent success was the completion of three new state of the art HUB sites called SGP Graves, SGP Thorncliffe and SGP Westfield.
