Sheffield University Performing Arts Society Details
Sheffield University Performing Arts Society (SUPAS) is the University of Sheffield's only society specialising in musical theatre. We put on two shows each academic year in the University Drama Studio; past productions include West Side Story, Cabaret, Footloose, Sweeney Todd, Evita Urinetown and The Producers. We also run a variety of workshops and projects. Our most recent projects were 'Edges' and 'Shakespeare: The Musical', both of which featured in Platform Festival at the University in March. As well our projects we also have our own radio show and plenty of informal socials. Our core philosophy is to have fun and be as inclusive as possible. Whether you like to act, sing, dance, direct, design costume or run tech, there's a place for you!
