ShelfRelief is a textbook marketplace for college students. Bookstores are an absolute rip off, and Craigslist or Amazon are not designed for students. Enter ShelfRelief, Amazon-like marketplace where books can only be sold to local students. It requires for buyers to pick up those books, the first week of classes, therefore eliminating shipping costs and increasing trustworthiness. A college email address is requires to sign up! Craigslist does not have the proper search functionality to find the books you need for college. It also requires cash transactions, and meeting in person with complete strangers, which might not always be safe.Amazon and eBay are great platforms, but let's be honest, who wants to be carrying around their books during their summer internships, and then shipping them across the country.
