Our grapes are grown on the 80-ha Margaret River Vineyards Estate in Clews Road, Cowaramup.The Estate is a relatively rare example of so-called clos farming being an unqualified success, with a generally high level of viticulture throughout. Our primary brand is Calem Blue – derived from a combination of our children's names, Cal and Emma, whilst Blue references the marvelous maritime climate of the region. The vineyard was planted in 1996, and the first vintage was '00. The Calem Blue brand has established a reputation for consistently producing wines of high quality, and excellent value for money.Over 40 medals have been won at various National wine shows and the brand has established a loyal following.Calem Blue wines are made in a sophisticated, fruit driven style, ready to drink with friends and family, and with enough panache to suit that special occassion.
