Shepheard Epstein Hunter is an established, award-winning architects' practice, respected for our imagination, experience, and ability to deliver, and our work has been recognised in some 60 awards schemes in the last fifteen years. We have evolved from our founders' twentieth century post-war years of optimistic regeneration, providing new housing, schools and universities for growing communities in a rapidly changing society.We are driven today by the same concern for how people use space, and the quality and impact of design. We design sustainably to make projects that last, give pleasure, are practical in use and good value for money; in a way that is people-focused and driven by the particular characteristics of each project: the nature of the site and the needs of our clients.We are keenly interested in sustainability and have developed our own independently certified Quality and Environmental Management System to guide our work and ensure the optimum level of sustainable design and construction for each project.We believe that every project, from masterplan to the smallest detail, is unique - a fresh opportunity to realise potential and enhance people's lives - and that the best projects grow out of teamwork, dialogue and enjoyable collaboration.Our practice is exceptionally diverse and combines youthful enthusiasm with mature reflection.
