Sherborne Prep is five minutes' walk from the centre of the thriving town of Sherborne, in 12 acres of beautiful grounds. With a direct train to and from Waterloo and nearby airports Sherborne Prep is ideally positioned as a rural Dorset School with excellent transport links. As a co-educational independent school the curriculum is broad, varied and stimulating with specialist teachers supporting and stretching pupils within sport, languages and music and the School runs the Physical Literacy (FMS) programme, placing importance upon an active and healthy lifestyle. The strong academic programme is supported by outdoor learning within a 22 acre site in Sherborne Castle grounds as well as extension opportunities through close partnerships with Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls.The School's Dragon values of perseverance, honesty, kindness, generosity, awareness and independence are embedded in the School.Most pupils join in Pre-Prep or year 3 but children are welcome to join all year groups, providing space is available.
