Shiny Rocks Goods has been a long time coming. I have always loved Pokemon, comics, manga, books, collectibles, and movies since I was a little kid. I also really love helping other complete their collections and find new and fun things that brighten their days! I have been in customer service one way or another since I was in high school (retail, tech support, quality assurance, etc) and while I love to help people, I hate having the limitations on HOW I can help people be determined by the overlords of a company. So part of the impetus for starting this company was to let me do the crazy things you can't do as an underling (give away free stuff, charge less so I make less profit, and making things right when things go wrong!)So here I am! You might ask, "Hey! Where'd you get the name? Do you sell geological items?". That's a great question! I do not... although I'm not opposed to it! The name came from my first and middle name, both I share with ...wait for it, shiny rocks!Some folks grow up never using their middle name, but I grew up ONLY using my middle name, and it wasn't until I left that house that I used my first, hence why it means something to me. I have two names that are predominantly used, and so they are part of my identity-- that's why I thought my business name should reflect that :).
