Shoplyft was established as an online marketplace where vendors can come together on a singular online platform and showcase their goods to customers. Just like a shopping mall, each store has its own specific rules and policies following the guidelines provided by Shoplyft for the mutual benefit of both the seller and consumer. Our company seeks to provide a fair marketplace where vendors can sell their goods to customers without being deprived of a large stake of their profits.For every transaction, Shoplyft charges vendors a small sales fee which is used to pay for operational expenses such as payment gateways, as well as further development of the business itself. 2.5% of all sales fees acquired from each product sold will be used to fund a non-profit organisation called "Givers of Good"In the interest of full disclosure, the initialisation of the enterprise "Givers of Good" mentioned above, was founded by the same founding directors of Shoplyft South Africa as a Social Enterprise to fund the organisation. The vision and goal of "Givers of Good" are to promote upright and beneficial activities within the community, such as feeding the poor, sick and needy, aiding and empowering women and children who have been victims of any forms of abuse, drug addiction, youth development, community wellbeing, as well as any further attainment of achieving good outcomes.More information can be found on the organisation's Website. All financial dealings in this regard will be available on the public record so as not to entertain the thoughts or premise of financial corruption or furthering the material gains of Shoplyft or its representatives. The primary motivation for the establishment of the company and the platform is not at all based on deriving financial gains but rather as a Social Enterprise and a marketplace where business can be conducted fairly to all parties.
