Short House Details
Short House is a transient art space and artist-run project that aims to build opportunities for its community. Starting in Los Angeles in 2007, Michelle Chong and Ian Henderson utilized their home and organized exhibitions, public workshops, and produced a concert featuring emerging composers and sound artists. In 2009, Short House joined Kolonie Wedding, a non-profit organization that promotes experimental art production in a vibrant and up-and-coming neighborhood in Berlin. Short House focuses on exchange and lives for "social hitherings." Like making up new words, sometimes it works and when it does a story begins to grow.
