Mission StatementThe Corporation's mission shall be to educate the general public on the benefits of receiving an annual flu vaccine, dispel the myths inhibiting the receipt of an annual flu vaccine, facilitate the receipt of annual flu vaccinations through charitable means, and provide charitable relief to the families, especially minor children, of persons who have passed away from flu related illnesses.How we startedHolly touched the lives of many people with her love, compassion, business sense, and humor. She was the voice of the Spring and Klein, Texas communities, serving as the Chamber of Commerce President in 2013. On Friday, January 17th 2014 at 6:00 in the evening, a friend, mother, wife, and business associate for so many of us, succumbed to the flu virus. She was 41 years old. Holly left behind a loving husband, Brent, and two beautiful daughters, Hunter 9, and Haylee 14.What exactly is the flu? It never ceases to amaze me how many people assume they have "the flu" when they are sick with fever, sniffles, coughing, and aching bones. Only a doctor and a blood test can positively confirm the flu! It became immediately clear to me, and several of my closest friends, that only through more education will we be able to help people that are misinformed.Flu shot awareness, educate the public about flu, dispel the myths of the flu shots, facilitate receipt of flu shots through charitable means.Please help our organization beat the beast known as the flu… ONE SHOT AT A TIME
