Health, Wellness & Fitness - Kheenvsar, Rajasthan, India
Shri Jasnath Asan (ashram) is located in Panchla Siddha, in the heart of the Marwar region of Rajasthan. The ashram is a 16th century medieval fort built by the king of Udaipur, and blessed by the yogis of the Nath tradition. It is one of the oldest educational, social, and spiritual institutions in the Marwar region - the trading hub of ancient India. Shridev Jasnath Trust was established to maintain the values and mission of previous gurus who lead the disciples of Shri Jasnath, the saint, siddha and ecologist who founded the spiritual tradition. Our continuing mission is to bring equality, peace and love to all humans, creatures and the ecological system which supports our continued learning. Manifestation of the Trust' Deed takes place on the campus of Shri Jasnath Asan (ashram) in the form of activities and support within our areas of interest:• education (particularly yoga)• wellness (medical & research)• ecology (water & trees)• women and the underprivileged (education and care)We play an active role in thousands of families daily life in the form of education and inspiration. Many of our programs are being mobilized to take them on the road by volunteers from India, America and Europe. Shridev Jasnath Trust is dedicated to setting up, running, and maintaining a wide variety of programs designed to lift people and nature out of its suffering, and into equilibrium. The campus is open daily to villagers seeking therapies from the vast traditions of the Indian healing arts including Yoga and Ayurveda. It is open during the winter months to foreign visitors seeking complimentary and alternative medicine, or simply a restful, yogic environment for their annual vacation. All are welcome.
