SHRI JRG Group was established in 1924 by Late Jagadish Rai Gupta, son of Late Seth Seetharam Sahuwala. His first venture was into food industry with a Dal Mill which he established in Rajasthan. His never ending focus on quality ensured he delivered the highest quality output in everything he established. He always insisted on giving the best to the society and that was the prime ingredient to his success. Later SHRI JRG Group evolved into various other industries and also entered various other markets in India. The sudden flourish and large scale growth of branded FMCG industry and Organised Retail sector in India in early 2000's paved the way for SHRI JRG Group to come up with their own food brand by the name ‘RISHTA' in the year 2001. ‘RISHTA' commenced its operations from Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. But with a vision of being a globally present fresh food brand it has been moving places rapidly and today its products are available in many of the Indian states like PUNJAB, WEST BENGAL, DELHI, ANDHRA PRADESH. With its latest entry to the Garden city of India- Bengaluru, RISHTA would mark its presence felt in yet another state in the Southern part of India.
