Shriram Geotechnical Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a Level 1 B-BBEE EME contributor, is a Durban based consulting, geotechnical drilling and environmental drilling firm which provides support on geotechnical and environmental geology orientated projects.From a geotechnical perspective, we provide consulting and rotary core drilling services for all commercial, industrial, residential, educational, recreational and infrastructure developments. Geotechnical investigations are carried out for, but are not limited to, the following:• Single-storey and multi-storey structures;• Housing developments in accordance to the Department of Human Settlements Guidelines;• Roads (asphalt, gravel, upgrades and rehabilitation);• Vehicular, pedestrian and pipe bridges;• Reticulation networks and other pipelines;• Pump Stations; • Tanks;• Reservoirs;• Dams;• Pipe Jacks;• Railways;• Substations;• Power Transmission Towers / Masts; and• Unstable slopes. All field investigations are tailored to meet with our Clients requirements and may include, but are not limited to, the drilling of rotary-cored, and/or percussion, boreholes, test/inspection pit excavation, hand augured boreholes, cone penetrometer testing (DPSH, DPL, DCP and CBR DCP), the logging of boreholes, profiling of inspection pits and augured boreholes, sample collection and percolation tests. We also provide consulting and drilling services for environmental geology/contaminated land based works including but not limited to:• Groundwater monitoring borehole installation;• Extraction well design and installation;• Soil vapour probe installation;• Surface water sampling;• Groundwater sampling; and • Soil sampling.Site supervision and QA/QC services for bulk earthworks and associated construction activities are also provided.Email: info@shriram.co.za
