Saudi Italian Development Company (SIDCO) is an innovative joint venture firm with offices in Riyadh and Jeddah. Its aim is to promote business activities and facilitate technology and know-how transfer between Saudi Arabia and Italy. SIDCO counts 16 shareholders representing the country's leading industrial groups and has signed a cooperation agreement with SIMEST, the Italian finance institution dedicated to support and promote the activities of Italian companies abroad, and more recently with Invitalia, the Italian national Agency for inward investment promotion and enterprise development. SIDCO services include scouting activities constantly performed in both countries to identify potential joint venture deals and advisory and support services in all phases of the process of the joint venture agreement. SIDCO supports clients investing in international incubators specialized in the commercialization of technologies currently implemented or being developed by research centres and companies of both countries.
