Sidekicks is an emerging technology services company dedicated to assisting neurologically distinct communities. Our new service provides a shared pathway for parents and their autistic child to connect in order to achieve social, emotional and practical goals – or just to have fun! For example, if a child loves Toy Story, Sidekicks enables parents to talk and teach them about friendship through entertaining scenes with Woody and Buzz. By integrating the child’s affinities with the parent’s goals, Sidekicks stimulates the child’s intrinsic motivation and creates an emotional and productive connection between parent and child.
