Desde 2010 su ámbito de actuación se ha incrementado, impulsando la mejora de la competitividad de las empresas del sector a través de la cooperación y aprovechando las sinergias no solo en el ámbito de la internacionalización sino en áreas como la innovación tecnológica y no tecnológica también.Siderex is a non profit organization founded in 1996 whose main goal was to promote Spanish steel exports. Since 2010 its scope has increased improving the competitiveness of the steel sector companies through cooperation and taking advantage of synergies not only in Foreign Trade but in other key areas such as technological and non-technological innovation as well.
