The other 95% is writing glue code to connect different pieces of the pipeline together, working on DevOps problems, etc - which most AI/ML engineers don't care about and/or do not have expertise in.Sidetrek is aiming to solve this problem. With Sidetrek, you can link your AWS account and have a scalable, production-ready Kubernetes cluster set up in your own cloud with a couple of clicks. You can then install your favorite open-source tools like Jupyter Notebook, Airbyte, Prefect with a single click. No need to write glue code to make sure all of them work together well. Distributed computing is also built-in so that when it comes time to take your data pipeline and AI/ML models to production, you can automatically scale them with no extra work.This way, AI/ML engineers can just focus on working on their core ML/AI problem.
