Northwood serves students in grades 3-4. Sidney Middle School serves students in grades fifth through eighth. Sidney High School serves students in grades ninth through twelfth. Alternative education opportunities are available for students who require it. Additionally, high school students may be accepted into the Opportunity School program, available for students who don't fit the traditional day-school model. Sidney City Schools has a preschool program housed at Whittier Early Childhood Center. Serving both students on IEPs and those who are typically developing starting at age 3, WECC introduces learning through play and exploration. Students with disabilities attend preschool for free, while those who are typically developing pay tuition on a sliding scale. Members of the community and families of prospective students are always welcome to tour our schools. Please contact school principals to arrange a time to visit.
