Sierra Quartet Details
The Sierra Quartet was founded in 2019 following a chamber music retreat in Three Rivers, California, located at the foothills of Sequoia National Park. Three childhood friends (Rochelle, James, and Christy) reconnected 11 years after their days at Music@Menlo and the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, joining violinist Elbert Tsai to form a quartet that is quickly becoming one of the sought-after ensembles on the West Coast. The Sierra Quartet has performed to acclaim throughout California and at Festival Rolland in Burgundy, and has more recently transitioned to offer high-fidelity streamed concerts during the 2020 pandemic.
