SIGG's Aluminum water bottles are extruded from a solid puck of aluminum. With 600 tons of pressure and an incredible amount of heat from which the bottle is created. This is important to you as it means all of our bottles are one piece construction, there are no welds or seams on SIGG bottles. Compared to a stainless steel bottle that will have a weld around the bottom and up the side oof the bottle.The concern here is that rust can form and become apart of the water you drink. This is not so for SIGG water bottles. The other key technology that sets SIGG apart from the competion is the proprietary liner in our bottles. Most other aluminum bottles on the market have a hard liner on the inside of the bottle. These bottles can pose a major health problem. Due to the fact that when they dent this type liner will crack and possibly chip off. Whatever you are drinking will come in contact with the aluminum of the bottle. At this point, you should throw this product away. SIGG bottles have a proprietary, flexible, integral liner, that will bend with the dent in the bottle and not crack.
