- Boulder, Colorado, United States
The Colorado Alpha chapter was founded at CU in 1904 by one of the fraternity's original founding fathers, "Uncle Billy". It is one of CU's largest fraternities and is conveniently located across from the University Memorial Center. The historic house was built in the 1920's for Sigma Phi Epsilon and has since had many renovations, including a new side yard added in the Summer of 2013. The members hold ideals that push them to be well-rounded, as they boast one of the highest GPAs in the Interfraternity Council, along with being competitive in athletic competitions. Their annual philanthropy, "Checking For Cancer", is an All-Greek Hockey Game that raises money for the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research.
