Ashley Letourneau founded and created Signs of Life in hopes of passionately serving both the deaf and hearing communities in Northeast Wisconsin and throughout the United States with Sign Language Instruction, Support Services, and Community Outreach. Signs of Life offers a variety of services: language and culture instruction, information/resources, and referrals, community education and outreach, advocacy, and mental and emotional support, and so much more! One of the most popular services is affordable, fun, and engaging American Sign Language lessons and Deaf culture instruction for all ages and abilities. Signs of Life tailors lessons and all services specifically to the needs, goals, schedules, and lifestyles of the hearing, hard of hearing, and deaf individuals, groups, and families being served throughout the United States. Signs of Life aims to promote improved communication for Deaf/hard of hearing individuals through collaboration with families, service providers, and community members. Signs of Life provides education and support through video training, in-person classes, group courses, cultural awareness, and other settings that are tailored to each individual's needs. Support is offered through a variety of communication modalities. Through these services, Ashley hopes to advance the public's understanding of the Deaf community, provide more communication options to members of the Deaf community, and bridge the gap between the deaf world and the hearing world.
