The house is built around six generations that followed each other from father-goldsmith to son-goldsmith.The House of Sillam has always been renowned for its quality, perfection and style. According to legend, a Sillam ancestor boasted the special ability to make precision-quality blades with both speed and proficiency. His exceptional skill of forging six blades of the highest quality in a single day, earned him the name "Six Lames" ("six blades"), which later became "Sillam".
