SIM Innovation and Networking Society (IONS) is the first initiative at the university, focused on cultivating innovation capabilities with an emphasis on computational and critical thinking.IONS has two core areas of focus:1) Building awareness and engaging studentsThrough our award winning and highly popular Fireside Chats that hosts some of the most inspiring individuals in tech corporates and startups. 2) Cultivating innovation capabilitiesThrough Project Altair - a 4 months hands-on structured programme that enables our IONS Ambassadors to lead digital projects , building MVPs addressing real world problems. During the course, they are also exposed to a myraid of opportunities from our growing IONS Network of industry players and thought leaders.
