Design - , ,
A professor in grad school once taught me that anyone can design something complicated. True design manifests itself through simplicity of form, stripping it down to reveal its basic essence. I've always taken a minimalistic approach to design and now I am able to truly understand and refine my design process, facilitating a much greater impact. When an idea enters my mind, it is blurry, pierced by noise and punctuated by distraction. The idea could still work, but it cannot become great until it has been isolated and honed. True design is realized once all the frills are gone and whatever it is, be it an object, an image, or even an emotion, can be seen in its pure, simple form. simple is harder.
