Simplified Project Controls (Pty) Ltd is a specialist company in the field of Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles.Although it is a new company, the Simplified Project Controls team (the consulting staff, authors, and their editor) developed the original methodology in 2006.Since 2009 the training material has been continuously accredited by the Engineering Council of South Africa. The lessons learned from implementing the methodology, as well as training courses held since 2007, are included in the newest training course material. Simplified Project Controls have a successful website making it possible for project staff to own the book "Simplified Integrated Project Controls - Project Controls based on Earned Value Management Principles", to practice the course materials online in their own time, or to attend a workshop on the subject.To date, the methodology has achieved the following:• Continuously accredited by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), since 2009.• SACPCMP accredited the workshop and training materials where it was successfully implemented (Eskom 2015 - 2016).• Was one of the finalists in the 2017 Accenture Innovation Awards.• Obtained 100% pass rate from an International Project Auditor (E & Y).• Are accepted and implemented by Eskom and International Mining Houses.• Successfully tried, tested, and practically applied to simple and complex Capital Projects since 2006.• Partnered with Anglo American Projects Academy (2012).
