Shannon has been an active member of the Council Bluffs community for over 20 years and has been involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Iowa and Nebraska state and federal bar associations, the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
