Founded by Jan Lee in 1992 Sinotique provides high quality home furnishings and antiques to New York's top design and architecture firms and discerning private clients. Housed in a compact brick building in historic DUMBO/Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn on three floors, Sinotique is a full service firm that provides sourcing, designing and fabrication of custom built furniture and cabinetry. Sinotique uses only local craftsmen, artisans and suppliers rather than outsource to overseas factories. Not only is the material recycled, but bamboo is a very sustainable wood, and thus a major theme of both the building and the apartment.
