Sirkus Recordings started selling potatoes in 2007. Dj's Code & Elected had nuff time to put up a recordlabel as a platform for their vision: we & the people need dusty beats, digital reggae, dubstep, bashment mashups & such. First release: dj Elected's Jacked Potato's: a 7" series: heavy sample-based reworks messing with Junior Reid, Roots Manuva & Syreeta. These tunes got Elected a ticket to London, where distribution was quickly set up. Wicked! Like we said meeting people in pubs exchanging dubplates. On this site you can find all info on the label.
