We're changing the narrative about young Black women professionals and providing opportunities so they can shine. We all know that Black women get the brunt of workplace inequity. And that's not an opinion. It's a fact. Only 13 percent of Black women have access to good jobs in their community. And when they do find jobs with higher wages and common sense benefits, they aren't treated right. Sadly, this is especially true with young Black women. Black graduates are twice as likely to be unemployed. And with reverse age discrimination running rampant in every industry—from workplaces labeling younger workers as "unpredictable", to having no legislation in place to protect young employees—merging young, Black, and woman all together, gets you one big discrimination sandwich. So we're targeting what we can change: the opportunity for young professionals to thrive. We provide young black women professionals with the tools to navigate workplaces, a space to connect with a community and share experiences, and the resources to build leaders with confidence in any industry.
