Founded by Linh Sa Arnold and Katie Forshner during their last semester studying at The Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at The University of Victoria, Sister Sister is a design-lead, ethical fashion brand for trend, price, and socially conscious millennial women who have difficulties purchasing sustainable fashion, which is either priced outside of their budget or not catered to their aesthetic tastes. By using sustainable fabrics and producing our garments in Vietnam in partnership with independent seamstresses paid a fair living wage, Sister Sister manufactures and sells stylish garments at a price that is accessible for millennial women, making sustainable shopping the convenient choice.We'd like to see the fashion industry move from a culture of excess, built at the expense of our environment and workers in developing countries, to a closed-loop industry with a supply chain that is transparent and ethical from start to finish so that consumers understand what goes into the price of their garments and are empowered to make better purchasing decisions.
