Health, Wellness & Fitness - Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
A new beauty brand bridging the gap between skin and hair while mildly detoxing the scalp, nourishing the hair, balancing the pH levels, and bringing damaged hair back to life all with high performing innovative ingredients and a mission to remain sustainable, inclusive, and accessible.Hair has played a valuable role in our lives and have become symbols for many stages. Hair can represent change, liberation, and empowerment; however, the perception and standards of hair can be detrimental. Many individuals are criticized for their hair and often aspire for something else. Women of color have constantly been criticized for their hair, curly hair too often deemed unprofessional in corporate environments, causing an unrealistic, one-dimensional beauty standard. Women are also expected to have long, luscious hair, in order to be the picture of "femininity"However, at SISTERWOULD, we want to break these barriers and stereotypes. We know that hair is not about how it looks, but how it makes you feel inside. We value every person for their hair journey; therefore, our job is to ensure that people love THEIR hair, and not aspire for anything else but rather assuring their own hair is at it's healthiest state. At SISTERWOULD we're not just another beauty brand and haircare brand on the market, SISTERWOULD is more than just an idea or shampoo/conditioner, it's altruism. We recognize that this beautiful world of ours lives, breathes, and thrives in its uniqueness. From the different and native species of plants to the different textures of hair, colors of skin, and senses that we use to experience life from day to day. We are truly passionate about people and our planet which is why we are focusing all our efforts on sustainability and inclusive design accessibility for those who are blind, visually impaired, and deaf. That's why our bottles packaging will have tactile/braille printing on it for the blind and visually impaired and be 100% recyclable
