It operates within the treatment space and uses readily available propane tanks as its fuel source. This fast, simple and safe system eliminates the problems associated with other available remediation heaters, including the issues of finding enough power circuits for electric heaters or dealing with the cumbersome ducting and associated heat loss of existing gas fired systems that must be operated outside of the treated space.The Sleeptight1500 is designed to roll right into the infested area. Its compact size readily transports through small elevators and narrow hallways. Using less than 7 amps, it plugs into a single 110/120 VAC outlet and provides up to 150,000 BTU/HR of heat capacity utilizing standard 20-LB propane tanks. This high heat capacity, equal to 44 kW of comparable electric heaters, makes it ideal to quickly raise the temperature and treat areas up to approximately 1200 square feet. Digital temperature controls make setting the target temperature easy and safe. Simple operation allows the system to hold the desired treatment temperature within a few degrees in the infested area. Effective heat treatments can be completed in as little as 4 hours for smaller spaces and 8 hours for larger 2 bedroom units.The Sleeptight1500 utilizes the same proven burner technology found in millions of residential gas furnaces around the world. This rapid heat technology provides superior capacity to quickly treat the infested area. The system has built-in temperature, airflow, and flame monitoring. Continuous Carbon Monoxide monitoring provides fast system shut down in the event of elevated CO levels in the treatment area.
