We at Sitaara., aim to eradicate period poverty sustainably. Currently, we do that by extending cloth pads to our underprivileged yet strong sisters. We intend to bring Sudhar (betterment) to Soch (mindset) through Seva (selfless giving/action) and secure Sanrakshan (conservation/sustainability) along.It was an appalling yet inspiring experience for us to learn about the problems these girls are faced with. Setting fire to our insides to work for their well-being. A mere 36% of menstruators have access to decent menstrual products in India but this nation is special. The fashion in which generations of phones entered India is fascinating. It's very different from the manner it did in the west. Some homes directly went from landlines to touch screens. They never learned what chordless or the infamous brick phones were. This makes India a special country. Similarly, we intend to bring the switch from ragged clothes to cloth pads. Without the step-in of plastic pads or other plastic products like in the west.
