SJ Aquatic Training offers a variety of training options. Our 30 years of combined years of teaching American Red Cross courses allows us meet all your aquatic and safety training needs. We deliver Lifeguard Training and Reviews as well as Waterfront Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer Review courses. These courses will teach participants how to prevent emergencies and how to stay calm and respond appropriately if an emergency occurs. In addition, we now offer Lifeguard Instructor/Instructor Trainer Review courses. These courses are required by the American Red Cross to maintain an instructor level certification. We offer Lifeguard Instructor courses as well. We can also provide in-service training for pool, waterfront and water park lifeguard staff. Training consists of water rescues, CPR and First Aid emergency care and skill based scenarios modeled from the facility specific emergency action plan (EAP). Each training is individually tailored for a facility. We are dedicated to aquatic safety and ensuring that there are quality trained lifeguards at our local facilities and throughout Michigan.
