skart is an architecture, design, sustainability and research collaboration between Katie Skillington and Jim Stewart. Founded in 2017 whilst living in Tokyo, Japan, the partnership has now followed them back to Melbourne, Australia. Our aim is to create positive impact, healthy, small footprint, and joyful environments to live, play and work in. Currently, our core business is Passive House consulting for all building typologies. We also offer full architectural services for projects that fit with our values and schedules. We don't accept all work that comes our way - we are quite selective about who we collaborate with - but, we will always engage in a conversation to see whether or not we're the right fit for you. We are keen to work with those who share our ethos or can bring something new to the conversation.
