Founded by Mr. G. Ramakrishna Achar, Sri. Kalikamba Fabricators (S.K.F.) Beginning with the manufacture of small food grain processing machinery, like cookers, the company grew from strength to strength. S K F has been a forefront on manufacturing and marketing of grain processing plants globally for more then two decades.It was a small step for him, the unanointed king of Grains Processing Manufacturing industry in India, G.Ramakrishna Achar, but a giant leap for the industry and the nation.The year was 1993 when G.Ramakrishna Achar, with daring dreams of making it big, founded SKF, in a hired shed and began manufacturing Rice cookers. After the tremendous success of manufacturing and marketing a 50 ton capacity boiler-cum-drier, Mr.Achar never looked back. SKF plants have been exported to Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Nigeria. Plans are a foot to establish an educational Institution of global standards, offering Diploma, Degree (BBM) and Masters Courses (MBA) in Grains Processing Technology, Manufacturing, Management, Maintenance , Marketing et al to fulfill the growing demand for knowledgeable and skilled Technicians from the Rice Mill Industry in India and abroad.
