Their fully automated JUKI SMT lines are capable of placing the latest components, including BGA and microBGA, supported by DEK screen printers & YES Tech AOI to guarantee repeatability. Skilcom's reputation for its Inspection and Test facilities. Having grown out of a Test and Repair house they believe that the "Back Office" of the assembly process is often "Forgotten" by other CEM's so Skilcom have also invested in "AOI" (Automated Optical Inspection) with YESTech AOI machines. This has all but eliminated 90% of human visual inspection which has vastly improved throughput enabling Skilcom to ship on average between 15,000 and 20,000 assembled PCB's per month.
