We come from, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. A state just turned eighteen. As a newly formed state, it needs many developments.Few synonyms of development are awareness and inclusive education. In our state, we have observed severe problems of lack of awareness and proper standard learning and education amongst women and children.We have seen women and girls, who have lost their parents, got widowed, remained unmarried or divorced and made to get separated. They struggle to earn a livelihood. What basically they can earn is either by learning skills like stitching, preparing homemade products, cosmetic industry skills, etc.Such training programmes hasn't been able to deliver at most. We are planning to train such isolated or challenged women with a very different tool. The tool of learning and educating.We'll prepare a team of learned women. We have established this NGO-Skills Shala with a purpose to empower marginalized women and children in our society.
