In 2007, Mo Keita started Skillz Check Soccer Academy after being involved in youth soccer programs for many years. As a successful player and coach, Mo was passionate about developing young athletes to achieve their best on the field. With a proven history of training athletes and teams that progress to local, regional and national success, Mo developed the Skillz Check curriculum in order to provide a broader group of young athletes with individual coaching, through both small group and private training, to achieve a high degree of technical and tactical proficiency.Since its inception, Skillz Check has been dedicated to promoting individual esteem and success, offering a wide range of programs tailored from the novice to elite level player. In addition to individualized and small-group training, Skillz Check now offers tournaments, camps, clinics and college showcases. Those that have matriculated through the ranks of the program never forget their roots and where they acquired their fundamental knowledge of the game.Former players have benefited greatly from the Skillz Check training, including Sam Lofton, a former James Madison University standout, 2015 draft selection of the Boston Breakers and presently a professional player for Breidablik in the Urvalsdeild league, one of Iceland's top Premiere Soccer League. Sam was kind enough to pass along the sentiment, "If you can train with [Mo], hold on to that for dear life because he made me such a better player."Mo has an experienced group of trainers who have made Skillz Check one of the most respected and renowned soccer training programs in all of New England. Mo has worked a number of years with Ben Brewster and Bob Surrette, most notably with NH Wildcat Soccer School and the national Volgersinger Camp. Mo thrives in finding new and innovative methods of imparting his knowledge of the game to future generations.
