Southwick Landscape Architects (SLA) is dedicated to bringing its clients nothing other than the best from the world of Landscape Architecture. By carrying landscape architectural registrations and licenses in Nevada, Arizona, Utah and California; and being CLARB certified, SLA has the capabilities to meet the needs of each client. Our total staff of eleven, including three licensed landscape architects, provides each client the most professional landscape design available. Mr. Southwick, SLA's Principal Landscape Architect, has been practicing in the Las Vegas Valley since 1986 and has become familiar with the unique landscape needs of our Southern Nevada environment and community. We strive to provide versatile designs integrating drought tolerant plant material, creative hardscape and efficient irrigation designs. Other design elements that we use when needed include playground areas, plazas, trails and trailheads and other artistic elements. One of our main goals is to provide low maintenance, water efficient and functional designs that are desired by our clients and essential in our Desert Southwest environment. We are members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) providing energy efficient, sustainable, green designs to our clients. We strive for LEED design standards whether or not certification is requested by the owner.
