The Slate Desktop (SD) is a software application by Precision Translation Tools that converts TMs into translation engines, and drafts suggestions for review and correction. Translators who correct the drafts report productivity gains because 30% to 50% match their professional judgment. SD never exposes TMs or proprietary processes to the cloud and it connects to memoQ, Trados Studio, OmegaT and other desktop CAT tools. SD is the first SMT application for MS Windows, OS X and Linux. A one-time perpetual single-user license allows users to create unlimited engines in all supported languages.
