The SLN Multiauto Group, started operations in 2000 and then acquired three concessions: Coimbracar, Garagem Lopes and Miatacar, representing respectively, the Mitsubishi, Mazda and Hyundai's and Ford. \\In 2001 acquired a 51% in SLV – Sociedade Leiloeira de Veículos, SA \\Also in 2001, acquired a stake of 19.5% in Group Sorel (www.gruposorel.com), a group of retail oldest of our country, with strong representation in the districts of Lisbon and Faro. \\In 2006, it invested heavily in growth, through a series of acquisitions that have given significant weight at the national level, through the acquisition of Multiauto, SA and Motorgest, SGPS, SA. The purchases were aimed not only increase the 'portfolio' of brands, but also take the lead in a market south of the country \\The Multiauto, Renault SA is the in Setubal, Evora, Beja, and Sines and Setúbal in Nissan brand and Beja. In 2008 came to represent also the Dacia in the districts of Setúbal, Évora and Beja. \\The Motorgest, SGPS, SA, through its subsidiaries is the Audi, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Mazda and the Ford, in Alentejo. \\Later in 2006, it sold the business of SLV to a joint venture which was part of the company a world leader in the remarketing of used vehicles. \\Also in 2007, the SLN Multiauto through a partnership, founded Multiauto Trading, a company acting as buying and selling of used cars and semi-new, still covering the export and import of new cars. \\Finally, the Group also acquired in December 2007, Assessor, the official repairer in Renault brand and Alcobaça in Caldas da Rainha, which in 2008 joined the representation of Suzuki and Authorized Office of Dacia. \\The SLN Multiauto currently represents eleven brands (Renault, Peugeot, Ford, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Audi, Nissan, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki and Dacia), we must add another six brands represented by the Sorel (Opel, Citroen, Mercedes, Smart , Chevrolet and Seat), with whom there are special arrangements for sale.
