We believe that good spirits is a key factor to make a good tasting, but it cannot stand alone. It is important that the participants is learning something new, and at the same time feels entertained. To achieve this the tasting needs to be tailored to the participants, so the speaker won't be too nerdy (or not nerdy enough!). And - we insist on the fact that to get the most out of a tasting you need to use the right nosing glasses. We use Glencairn glasses from Scotland, that has been developed specifically to optimize the nosing and tasting experience for all spirits. We use a glass for each dram for all participants - so if there are 100 participants each tasting 8 different drams, we will bring 800 glasses! After each tasting all glasses are machine washed and dried by hand, and in the process controlled for damages and spots. The impression of a good spirit shouldn't be disturbed by a glass not in perfect condition or not perfecly clean.
