Small Planet was founded in 2000, by Becca King Reed and Rusty Reed as a TV content creation service. Our first product was the syndicated television health series "Today's Health Quiz." We followed that with a history series for children, Retro News. We also supported the productions of Gina D's Kids Club as well as The Dooley and Pals Show and "It's a Big Big World"for PBS. Over the years we learned a lot about distribution and publicity via new media. First we used websites and web video to publicize television series', then as social media began to emerge, we helped our clients produce podcasts and blogs and before we knew it, bing-bang, we were in the social media marketing business.Today, at Small Planet News, we use our television expertise to help professionals and small businesses owners grow their companies with video marketing. We create video content that positions professionals as experts, builds credibility and enhances their brand. We distribute it across the internet and publicize it via social media. We find this builds a big buzz, inspires customer loyalty, amplifies online presence and boosts the bottom line.
