Smart Trips is a FREE program that promotes alternatives to driving alone for those who live or work in Knox, Blount, Loudon, Anderson, Jefferson or Sevier counties. Smart Trips helps commuters choose alternative commute options that can work from them such as taking the bus, carpooling, bike commuting, telecommuting or walking to work. The program offers an online ridematching service that helps commuters find carpool matches in minutes and offers gift cards as rewards for those who take alternative commutes at least 10 days per quarter.
