SmartFunded was founded on the belief that there is a better way to directly improve the quality of our children's education in public schools. A vast majority of our schools engage in highly inefficient and time-intensive fundraising activities to supplement their public funding and preserve programs such as music, art, PE and the school counselor. Product fundraising for schools is a $6 billion dollar market that generates just $1.4 billion, or less than 25%, for the kids. There is a better, more effective way. SmartFunded enables parents, grandparents, alumni, businesses and foundations to contribute directly to a public school in an efficient way that will provide both immediate and long-term benefits to the school and its children.
